Carol
Peters has spent more than 30 years in the music industry including
executive positions at both major (Warner Bros., Capitol, Elektra)
and independent labels (Pasha/CBS, Planet/Elektra, Beyond/Universal).
She was the general manager of Ampex Stereo Tapes, and Pasha/CBS
Records as well as having extensive professional relationships
in distribution organizations, music and mass merchandiser retailers,
radio programming, and television networks, both domestically
and internationally (Europe, Australia, Japan, Latin America).
For 15 years,
Carol has been a personal manager, creating and overseeing
the execution of successful marketing plans for major recording
artists including the Bee Gees, John Mellencamp, En Vogue,
Heart, Deana Carter, the Go-Go’s, as well as cross-marketing
projects for Pepsi, H&R Block, Pedigree, Toyota/Conde Nast
Publications, Budweiser, Kay Jewelers and others.
Carol’s
company, Peters Management Syndicate, Inc., created in April
2003, represents such artists as the rock band Heart (including
the solo careers of Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson), multi-platinum
singer/songwriter, Deana Carter, television actor/songwriter
Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go’s, Dove Award and Christian
Rock chart toppers, Seventh Day Slumber, and others.
